Job Summary:
We are seeking a talented and experienced Hair Stylist specializing in African-style braiding to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hair styling, a deep understanding of African hair textures, and the ability to create a variety of intricate and beautiful braid styles.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform various braiding styles, including but not limited to box braids, cornrows, micro braids, Senegalese twists, and crochet braids.
• Consult with clients to understand their hair care needs and preferences.
• Provide recommendations for hair care products and maintenance routines.
• Maintain a clean and organized workstation.
• Keep up-to-date with the latest trends and techniques in African hair braiding.
• Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction by delivering exceptional service.
• Handle bookings and manage time effectively to accommodate multiple clients.
• Follow all health and safety regulations, including proper sanitization of tools and equipment.
• Work collaboratively with other team members to create a welcoming and professional salon environment.
Qualifications:
• Proven experience as a hair stylist with a specialization in African-style braiding.
