Responsibilities:
- Supervise the daily activities of the quality control program and perform regular audits, both internal and external, to ensure adherence to established standards and procedures.
- Lead the creation, implementation, and enhancement of quality control policies, standards, and operational processes, ensuring thorough documentation of records and reports for regulatory submissions.
- Develop and manage a system to track and assess quality control data, and provide detailed reports to senior management.
- Detect and address quality control issues, propose improvements to enhance service and process quality, and execute strategies to mitigate risks.
- Assess and review supplier performance through periodic audits, ensuring compliance with the company's quality requirements.
- Oversee equipment usage to ensure safety and ensure the proper disposal of any equipment that fails to meet standards.
- Guide and support the Quality Assurance team, promoting a culture of ongoing improvement and excellence in quality within the organization.
- Act as the company’s representative in quality-related matters with external parties, including clients and regulatory agencies.
- Handle feedback, manage complaints, and conduct investigations into incidents or accidents.
- Coordinate with ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) and other relevant governmental bodies regarding grant applications and claims.
- Address any additional QA/QC issues as assigned by management.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Quality Control or relevant disciplines (Engineering, Manufacturing, etc.)
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in a quality control or Quality Assurance role
- Strong knowledge of local and international quality control methodologies and best practices, including ISO management systems and relevant frameworks (i.e., ISO 45001, 14001, 20121, 9001, and bizSAFE standards)
