A leading civil contractor in Singapore, renowned for delivering large-scale infrastructure projects are currently seeking a seasoned Project Director with substantial airport construction experience to be a part of the team.
Position Overview:
The Project Director will oversee the successful planning, execution, and completion of large-scale airport construction projects. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in airport projects and demonstrate exceptional leadership, project management, and strategic planning skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Leadership:Lead the project team, ensuring effective collaboration and communication.
Develop and implement project strategies, objectives, and deliverables.
Ensure compliance with all regulatory, safety, and quality standards.
- Planning & Execution:Oversee project planning, scheduling, and resource allocation.
Ensure project milestones and deadlines are met.
Manage project budgets, forecasts, and financial performance.
- Stakeholder Management:Liaise with clients, consultants, contractors, and regulatory bodies.
Facilitate regular progress meetings and reporting.
Address and resolve project issues and risks proactively.
- Quality & Safety:Ensure adherence to quality standards and safety protocols.
Implement best practices in project management and construction.
Conduct regular site inspections and audits.
- Team Development:Mentor and develop project managers and team members.
Foster a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.
Promote teamwork and a collaborative work environment.
Qualifications:
- Education:Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering recognized by PEB Singapore
- Experience:Minimum of 15 years of experience in civil construction, specifically in airport construction projects.
- Proven track record of managing large-scale, complex projects from inception to completion.
Strong understanding of construction methodologies, project management principles, and industry best practices
