Job Scope:
In the Department, you will be part of the team that works closely with key divisions to analyse and draw up vector control policies, strategies, regulations as well as propose new concepts to achieve more effective means of vector control operations.
You will be responsible for the following:
- Support the team to engage stakeholders to communicate policy changes, updates and/or share best practices
- Consolidate and analyse statistics to support the review of policies, training curriculum and Code of Practice
- Assist in appeals and feedbacks related to the policy implementation
- Assist in any ad-hoc duties in relation to the policy implementation
- Any other ad-hoc administrative duties
Job Requirements:
- Diploma or Degree (Background in science, public health, environmental science, environmental studies or environmental engineering is preferred)
- Prior experience in data analytics, stakeholder outreach and engagement will be an advantage
- Excellent communication and writing skills to engage and influence stakeholders across different levels
- A good team player who enjoys interacting and working with others
- Self-driven, able to work independently and multi-task
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
Salary: $19 to $20/hour
