Responsibilities:
- Improve factories in APAC and other regions as needed.
- Analyze factory operations to find and fix process gaps.
- Perform industrial engineering tasks, site surveys, and factory diagnostics.
- Implement digitalization activities in factories and processes.
- Develop and execute a digital transformation plan with use cases.
- Upgrade IT infrastructure and data connectivity.
- Use technologies like smart automation, paperless manufacturing, BI tools, AR/VR, and big data analytics.
- Support the product cost working group (Cost ITAKONA WG).
- Improve production cost structure and product planning & development.
- Enhance parts quality.
- Conduct training and seminars to promote digital transformation and factory improvements.
- Handle administrative tasks related to MIC operations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field preferred; a diploma with extensive experience may be considered.
- 3-5 years of experience in factory enhancement and digital transformation.
- Knowledge of product development, manufacturing processes, and digital transformation (including Big Data Analytics and AI).
- Strong IT knowledge and experience in OT (operational technology) environments.
- Programming skills in Python, Java, C++, or SQL are a plus.
- Willingness to travel frequently within APAC and occasionally outside APAC
