RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage the day-to-day Accounting operations including A/R, A/P, Revenue Recognition, working closely with the Accounting and Trade Departments to review processes, implement best practices and improve productivity.
- Preparation of the internal monthly and quarterly reporting (Profit & Loss, Consolidation package and Analysis of variances).
- Review of accounting schedules, including Fixed Asset, Prepayment and Inventory, which involves postings (GL) into SAP system.
- Assist to ensure closing of books within the timeline and review of any manual entry for adjustment.
- Approval of workflow for payments, ensuring the order of documentation and posting entry.
- Collaborate with IT or stakeholders on IT/System updates, testing and implement any automation improvements.
- Responsible for liaising with Corporate Secretary on any ACRA filing matter.
- Assist in Audit (Internal and External), prepare FS notes workings.
- Involvement in all tax matters including GST, Corporation Tax, GTP, Withholding tax and Transfer Pricing Documentation. 1
- Support the Senior Accounting Manager / CFO with miscellaneous projects and tasks
REQUIREMENTS
- Degree in Accounting or Finance, Chartered Accountant (SG) preferred.
- Minimum 5 years working experience in Accounting, Tax and Audit, preferably from Trading industry.
- Knowledge in FRS, GST, Transfer pricing documentation, Corporate Tax and other statutory reporting to ACRA or IRAS.
- Proficiency with MS Office applications and SAP.
- Meticulous to ensure accuracy of reports and good communication skills both written and verbal.
