Job Scope:
As an Assistant Manager, the role involves managing the strategic plans for the business as they continue to expand operations in the region. Individuals will be a key leader in analysing consumer data, preferences, and market trends to propose and develop merchandises around the region.
Job Responsibilities:
- Develop and support strategic category sourcing plans for the business.
- Ensure costs and operational efficiencies for the various categories to ensure business profits are met and budgets are managed.
- Identify and oversee suppliers performance while maintaining a good relationship with them.
- Support and negotiate contract management with suppliers and stakeholders.
- Manage the merchandise licensees to ensure the start to end of goods sales are ran smoothly.
- Oversee quotations preparation, freight deliveries, payment processes and documentations required for the business.
Qualifications:
- A Bachelors Degree in Supply Chain, Business Management or any related discipline is a plus.
- More than 4 years of experience in Supply Chain and Sourcing is a plus.
- Experience in FMCG, Retail or a Licensee business is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills with a passion in consumer goods is highly advantageous.
- The ability to work independently and address challenges is a plus.
