Role Overview: We are seeking an experienced and visionary Chief Investment Officer (CIO) to lead our investment strategy, drive our acquisition efforts, and manage our real estate investment portfolio. The CIO will play a crucial role in shaping the investment direction of the family office, ensuring the achievement of financial objectives, and maintaining the highest standards of investment management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Investment Strategy Development:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive investment strategy aligned with the family office's goals and risk tolerance.
- Identify and evaluate potential real estate investment opportunities, including residential, commercial, and industrial properties.
- Conduct thorough market research and analysis to guide investment decisions.
- Portfolio Management:
- Oversee the management of the real estate investment portfolio, ensuring optimal performance and risk management.
- Monitor and analyze the performance of existing investments and recommend strategies for enhancement.
- Implement asset management strategies to maximize returns and value creation.
- Acquisitions and Dispositions:
- Lead the acquisition process, including sourcing, evaluating, negotiating, and closing real estate transactions.
- Manage the disposition of assets when necessary, ensuring profitable exits and alignment with investment goals.
- Financial Analysis and Reporting:
- Conduct financial modelling, valuation, and due diligence for potential investments.
- Prepare and present investment proposals, reports, and performance updates to stakeholders.
- Ensure accurate and timely reporting of investment activities and results.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Real Estate, or a related field; MBA or CFA preferred.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in real estate investment, asset management, or a related field.
- Proven track record of successful real estate acquisitions, portfolio management, and value creation.
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency in financial modelling and valuation techniques.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
- Ability to think strategically and make data-driven investment decisions.
- Leadership experience with a demonstrated ability to manage and develop a high-performing team.
- Deep understanding of the Singapore real estate market and regulatory environment
