We seek an Assistant Channel Manager who will be responsible and accountable for the best-in-class execution and delivery of key commercial objectives and brand presentation in the Modern On-Trade for the Singapore market.
Job Responsibilities:
- Achieve and exceed the sales plan for Modern On-Trade to meet growth targets and sustain the company’s market leadership in the competitive landscape.
- Supports the Senior Channel Manager in executing the commercial strategy, channel-product mix management and management of selling cost/trade investments in the Modern On-Trade segment.
- Deliver best-in-class Modern On-Trade Distribution Segmentation and Strategic Visibility as primary focus through implementation of relevant On-Trade activations and strategic collaboration with key accounts to elevate the salience and equity at Trade.
- Continuously assess the addressable outlet universe (including quality of outlet distribution) to acquire and penetrate into new accounts for the company’s portfolio to prepare for future growth opportunities.
- Effectively negotiate outlet contracts with customers with the aim to achieve win-win with trade customers while maximizing trade investment ROI and optimising use of price support/selling cost budget.
Job Requirements
- At least 5 years B2B sales leadership or key account management capacity in premium consumer goods segment, wine and spirits, F&B or hospitality segment.
- Understanding of the Modern On-Trade dynamics of the wine/spirit/cocktail landscape in Singapore.
- Appreciation for wine and spirits category and the nightlife lifestyle.
- Driven, self-motivated, proactive and positive with a can-do mindset.
- Strong negotiation, numerical and analytical skills.
