- JOB SUMMARY
The Baking Assistant will be responsible for overseeing all baking operations. They will work together with the Cook, and other staff members to ensure all items prepared and served are of the highest quality, while adhering to the hygiene guidelines and the standard operating procedures of the business.
- PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE ROLE
• Responsible for the preparation and production of all bagels, in accordance with our standard operating procedures.
• Stacking and cutting of the bagels during service periods, and placing them at the collection point for customer collection.
• Help maintain cleanliness and organisation in the kitchen, including washing equipment, sanitising surfaces, and storing ingredients properly.
• Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure the highest standards of hygiene and safety are maintained at all times.
• Support inventory management efforts by monitoring ingredient levels, and working with the Cook to order supplies as required.
• Collaborate with all other team members to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of tasks.
• Supporting other areas of operations where required or needed.
• Other ad-hoc tasks as needed.
