You will be based at our group’s new headquarters in Tuas, Singapore, and report to the Assistant Manager, Project. The Senior Engineer, Project will lead projects from concept to completion, ensuring all technical and quality standards are met.
Key Responsibilities:
- Production planning, including the efficient deployment of manpower, materials and equipment.
- Hands-on supervision and training.
- Execution and monitoring of shipbuilding projects, from design execution to commissioning, with a focus on safety, quality, cost and delivery.
- Coordinate, supervise and ensure completion of post-delivery warranty matters in accordance with the industry's best practice.
- Liaising professionally with co-workers, management, clients, subcontractors, and vendors.
- Seeking ways to improve productivity in the production process.
Basic Requirements:
- This position is limited to Singaporeans and Permanent Residents only.
- Candidates must have at least five years’ experience in a similar capacity in the marine and offshore industry, and possess at least a NITEC or Higher NITEC or Diploma in Shipbuilding / Marine & Offshore Technology / Design.
- Strong leadership skills.
- Able to cope with tight deadlines and thrive under pressure.
- Able to work overseas on short-term projects periodically.
- Able to communicate professionally with people from different backgrounds.
- Good communication skills, confident in spoken and written English.
- Proficient in relevant Microsoft Office programs including MS Project.
- Additional certifications such as Ship Repair Manager would be an advantage.
