What you'll do:
As a Software Engineer specialising in Python, your main responsibility will be designing and developing software using the Quartz platform. You will play a significant role in the architecture and design of high-performing, multi-asset class Trade Capture/Risk/Data platforms. Collaborating as part of a global development team, you will ensure that global tools and technologies are utilised effectively. Your role will also involve providing specific, measurable, and accurate estimates on short timescales in an intellectually stimulating environment. Additionally, you will implement business-specific requirements in a generic and flexible manner to enable reuse.
- Design and develop software in Python using the Quartz platform.

What you bring:
As our ideal candidate for the Software Engineer - Python role, you possess extensive hands-on programming skills in Python. You hold a university degree, preferably in Computer Science or equivalent. Your excellent analytical abilities coupled with your problem-solving skills make you stand out. You have good interpersonal skills which make you an effective team member. You are proactive in tackling technical problems and are always willing to acquire new skills when needed. Your excellent verbal/written skills and your ability to balance the need for high quality output with the need to meet tight deadlines are commendable. You are willing to interact with global teams to drive initiatives from the APAC region. Lastly, you have a strong understanding of agile methodology, test driven development and continuous integration.
