Communications & Social media strategist
- Strategize with the team in the planning of content for both online and offline communications platforms (e.g Social Media, Video Productions, Website, Fundraising Campaign, Newsletters and collaterals).
- Creating content for both online and offline communication/media plans
- Recruit, select, train and manage Media Volunteers, including their deployment in support of events and the design and production of various marketing materials require.
- Collaborate with other departments/teams to engage and strengthen the branding and marketing for general public, corporates, volunteers and our beneficiaries.
- Provide tracking updates or reports on digital marketing activites
- Responsible for editorial direction, design, production and distribution of publications, i.e. annual reports, e-newsletters, corporate videos and brochure.
Program Management
- Assist and Collaborate with all internal teams and external stakeholders (e.g corporates, schools, community) to spearhead partnership projects.
- Establish, implement and manage project management structures and systems for the team, to ensure that events/campaigns are executed successfully.
- Work with team to develop grant proposals for the organisation.
- Be involved in projects as directed by Executive directors
- Ad hoc tasks will be assigned as needed
Requirements:
- Background in &/or passion for community service, youth development, programme coordination, engagement &/or partnership management will be advantageous.
- Diploma/Bachelor in Communications, Marketing, or related field.
- Proven experience in Communications and Events Management. Managerial experience will be considered for Team Lead position.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, detail oriented, organisation & project management skills.
- Proficient in digital communication tools & platforms (eg, Social Media platforms, Adobe Suite, WordPress), social media analytics.
- Possess flair for visual designs, visual storytelling and other creative content creation.
- Resourceful, and able to multitask in a dynamic environment.
- Self-Motivated, proactive and adaptable.
