- Lead in analysing and resolving complex issues reported by users, proposing strategic, long-term solutions, and collaborating with vendors and developers to implement these solutions effectively (preferably within the web domain).
- Conduct rigorous testing and quality assurance (QA) for IT solutions, including creating detailed test cases and plans, executing test scenarios, and documenting results to ensure high standards of quality and performance for web-based applications.
- Collaborate closely with stakeholders to gather, define, and prioritise business requirements related to website operations. Prepare and document these requirements, facilitate walkthroughs, and secure approvals for user requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
- Oversee and manage changes to the production environment to ensure seamless, problem-free releases of web applications. Develop and manage project plans, conduct feasibility studies, and coordinate resources to meet project deadlines efficiently.
- Provide 1st and 2nd-level production support, addressing and resolving issues promptly to minimise disruption to website operations and ensure high availability of web systems.
- Offer technical and functional support for in-house web applications, ensuring optimal functionality and addressing any issues that arise to support smooth operations.
- Design and deliver training sessions for end-users on in-house web applications, and develop comprehensive training materials, user guides, and documentation to enhance user proficiency and adoption.
- Ensure strict adherence to IT standard operating procedures, policies, and industry standards. Maintain compliance with organisational and regulatory requirements throughout all project activities.
- Assist in identifying and implementing improvements to business processes to achieve organisational goals. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align business processes with project objectives and drive operational efficiency.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to team members, manage and resolve system issues in a timely manner, and communicate effectively with stakeholders across various departments to ensure alignment and support for project outcomes.
Requirements:
- Degree in Computer Science/ Information Technology/ Business Information Systems/ or a related field, with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in business analysis (preferrable in web application development).
- Proven expertise in delivering comprehensive business requirement processes, with hands-on experience in analysing, documenting, and implementing requirements for web-based systems and applications.
