Job Requirements and Responsibilities:
- Being the face of the location and leading a team to provide an amazing customer service experience that will keep members coming back.
- Managing the team, and responsible for opening and closing of the location.
- Demonstrating product knowledge and helping members get involved in community programming, competitions, and special events.
- Understanding the sales plan and sales goals and helping to meet sales targets by increasing key performance indicators.
- Processing transactions, and using product knowledge to drive add-on sales.
- Working with management to ensure there’s no misuse of company property or theft, and ensuring that the environment is operated safely and within relevant guidelines, regulations, and laws.
- Training and coaching new associates as needed to help them quickly get acclimated to the team.
We offer a casual working environment in a very central area with great transportation connections. The working hours are variable and shift based. We offer uniforms and employee access to our facilities. Additional bonuses and incentives are tied to performance and revenue targets, but you will receive an annual wage supplement (AWS).
Preferred Skills and Experience:
- Minimum two (2) years of relevant experience in a similar capacity or in retail sales; candidates with less experience but are up for the challenge are welcome to apply as training will be provided
- Creativity and outside-of-the-box thinking
- Strong oral communication skills
- Familiar with point-of-sale computers and software
- Bonus: An interest in or passion for golf
