Job Description:
· Understand key project requirements to effectively oversee project schedule, plan and implement engineering and other technical activities relating to the project.
· Provide project support as required:
o Design reviews with customers
o System qualification testing, verification, and acceptance
o Documentation support
o System Safety assessment
· Carry out system and design analysis including (added advantage):
o Finite Element Analysis
o Computational Fluid Dynamics
o Shock and Vibration Simulation
o Heat Flow and Cooling Analysis
o Design for Ventilation
· Work closely with design team on the design of the system and components.
· Maintain proper records of project drawings and documentation:
o Update drawings in accordance with the relevant company procedures and engineering standards
o Maintain all revisions of project drawings
o Update and maintain drafting log
· Prepare engineering documents for Client submissions:
o Prepare manuals for component/assembly installation and integration
o Prepare Bill of Materials
· Liaise with vendors for component and material specifications
· Liaise with Operations team, including sub-contractors, on fabrication and manufacturing methods
Requirements:
· Preferably Singapore Citizen
· Proficient with MS Office with good technical writing skills, well-versed in Microsoft Excel
· Proficient with SOLIDWORKS
· Degree/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
· Fluent in English and Chinese to converse and work together with production workers from different backgrounds
· Preferably with Class 3 driving license
