My client, an agri-firm is looking for a Technical Consultant, Microsoft GP for their growing team
Role
They are seeking a seasoned Dynamics GP Consultant to join our team. In this role, you will be instrumental in driving the successful implementation and optimization of our Dynamics GP system. Your expertise in business process analysis, system configuration, and project management will be crucial in delivering value to the organization.
Responsibilities:
- Business Analysis and Solution Design:Conduct in-depth business needs assessments to identify requirements and system goals.
Develop comprehensive solution blueprints aligned with best practices and industry standards.
Collaborate with stakeholders to define system requirements and translate them into actionable project plans.
- System Implementation and Integration:Oversee the implementation of Dynamics GP modules, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
Integrate third-party applications (e.g., SmartView, Smart Connect, EDI) with Dynamics GP.
Develop and execute robust test cases to validate system functionality and data integrity.
- Data Management and Reporting:Ensure data accuracy and consistency through data cleansing and validation processes.
Create and maintain informative reports using SSRS and Tableau.
Optimize data structures and reporting for efficient analysis.
- Project Management and Support:Collaborate with project managers to develop and execute project plans.
Provide technical guidance and support to the IT team throughout the project lifecycle.
Conduct user training and knowledge transfer sessions.
- Vendor Management and Collaboration:Manage relationships with Dynamics GP vendors and partners.
Collaborate with vendor teams on system upgrades, customizations, and integrations.
Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years of consulting and development experience in Microsoft Dynamics GP.
- Proven track record in leading Dynamics GP implementations and upgrades.
- Strong understanding of Finance, Supply Chain, and Distribution modules.
- Proficiency in Dexterity development and SQL database management.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
