The firm
We are an independent consulting firm that supports our clients with advisory services and data solutions centered around sustainability and impact. With our expertise, experience, and dedication, we help clients from the private and public sector to understand and act on their impact on society.
For our work we rely on four core competencies:
- Quantitative and qualitative analysis of complex problems;
- Implementation of sustainability and impact in operational processes and strategies;
- Building capacity among (financial) institutions on sustainability;
- Development of software tools to enable efficient management of sustainability and impact.
Our clients vary from multinationals such as Heineken and Coca-Cola, to financial institutions such as the Asian Development Bank and International Finance Corporation (IFC). In Singapore, we place a focus on working with venture capital and private equity funds, such as East Ventures, Integra Partners or Asia Partners, but you will be exposed to other projects as well.
We are headquartered in Amsterdam and have offices in Singapore and Washington DC.
The role
As an Associate Consultant in our Singapore office, you will support our team in the execution of various projects.
Your work will rely substantially on data analysis, quantitative methods, and Excel. Your tasks will include:
- Research: conducting both quantitative and qualitative research on impact and sustainability topics;
- Analysis: processing information to draw conclusions and formulate impact and sustainability strategies, collecting and cleaning micro and macro-level data to unveil patterns and trends;
- Model and framework development: designing standard or novel models and frameworks to measure impact or integrate sustainability in our clients’ operations;
- Narrative crafting: transforming research and analysis into compelling narratives to communicate complex information in an easily digestible manner, thereby informing strategic decision-making.
You will work with- and under the guidance of Steward Redqueen’s Singapore team, your colleagues in the Netherlands and other international offices. We will give you guidance, but we also want to give you space to find your own solutions and show initiative. Here, we make sure that we cater to all our Associates’ skills and challenges, developing them into well-rounded professionals. This and the exposure from working with various clients in different industries ensures a steep learning curve.
This is a full-time function.

The profile
We are looking for an enthusiastic person with up to 2 year(s) of professional experience. Relevant internship/work experience is appreciated but not required. As our next colleague, you:
- Have a Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field (e.g. Economics, Business, Engineering, International Relations, Finance). Candidates with a quantitative and/or economics background are preferred;
- Believe in Steward Redqueen’s mission, and have affinity with the firm’s focus and activities;
- Can solve complex problems and have a good feel for quantitative and qualitative analysis;
- Possess strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
Since we are a small team in Singapore, the ideal candidate is comfortable with working independently and enjoys brainstorming sessions, collaborating with the team to develop innovative concepts.
We are looking for a candidate already based in Singapore. While we have a flexible work environment, we encourage Associates and Consultants to split their time between home and the office to stimulate creativity and knowledge sharing.
The position is open to Singaporeans and PR/EP/SP/LTVP holders.
We are looking for someone available to start as soon as possible.
