The company is a growing mining services provider committed to maintaining the highest professional standards in the mining industry. As the company continues to expand, it has created the role of Group Finance Director to lead finance team.
The Position
Reporting to the Group CFO, the Finance Director will lead and guide a team of finance staff in several offices around the region. Key responsibilities include overseeing the preparation of accounts for regulatory reporting and analysis, implementing budgets for operating countries, and conducting quarterly reviews. The role also involves providing analysis on investments, tenders, and existing projects. The Finance Director will manage treasury matters, capital management, and tax, ensuring statutory compliance across all countries. Additionally, overseeing internal audits and compliance is essential. The Group Finance Director will handle various ad-hoc duties and support the Group CFO with strategic input related to the company's strategy and financial matters.
The Person
Ideal candidates will hold a degree and have a minimum of 10 years of professional experience, along with a recognized qualification such as CFA, CA, or ACCA. Experience in managing offices or operations in Southeast Asia is highly advantageous.
