The team within Group Finance is responsible for valuation of fair value products of the bank and supporting the Global Financial Market (GFM) business on financial accounting and controls, advisory, strategy and planning.
We are looking for an energized individual who is passionate in making positive differences in the workplace. The individual is expected to be versatile in the areas of internal controls and governance, passionate with data mining and analytics to produce data-driven decision making points.
Responsibilities
- Consolidate, report and comment on daily P&L of T&M to Senior Management
- Monthly analyses and performance commentaries of front office
- Assist in delivering quality control KRIs highlighting areas of concerns
- Perform control quality assurance reviews
- Drive change in strategic data analytic tools (KRI, business analytical tools)
- Participate and assist with ad-hoc projects
Requirements
- Degree in Accountancy or a Finance related discipline with experience in MIS or Financial reporting in banks.
- Analytical skills with a good sense of the business environment and attentive to details.
- A strong communicator with good written and verbal communication skills – ability to summarize complex issues
- Enjoy working in a dynamic and challenging environment with strong ability to multi-task.
- Strong innovation and inquisitive mindset
- Quick learner, with positive attitude towards initiating and making change happen.
- Good knowledge of banking products specially treasury related.
- Good visualization skills (MS Office tools, Advance Excel, Tableau) with keen learning attitude
