The Chief Business Development Officer holds a strategic role within the organization, focusing on fostering new partnerships, identifying market opportunities, and driving business growth. This position involves a deep understanding of the company’s market position and the ability to forecast future trends to align them with the organization’s strategic goals. By working closely with marketing, sales, and product development teams, the CBDO ensures that the company remains competitive and continues to expand its market share and revenue.
Responsibilities
- Develop and Implement Strategies:Create comprehensive business development strategies to achieve the company’s long-term growth objectives.
Forge strategic partnerships and relationships with key industry players, potential clients, and other stakeholders to expand market presence.
- Deal Negotiation and Closure:Oversee the negotiation and closure of business deals that contribute to revenue growth and market expansion.
- Team Leadership:Lead the business development team, setting targets, monitoring performance, and providing mentorship to ensure they meet their individual and collective goals.
- Market Analysis and Expansion:Analyze market trends and competitor strategies to identify new business opportunities and areas for expansion or improvement.
Coordinate with the marketing department to align business development strategies with marketing campaigns and brand positioning.
- Budget Management:Manage the budget for business development activities, ensuring resources are allocated efficiently to maximize return on investment.
- Diversification and Innovation:Spearhead the exploration and development of new business models or product lines to diversify the company’s portfolio and revenue streams.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field (Master’s preferred).
- Proven track record of successful partnerships and revenue growth
- Strategic knowledge in franchise management and Information technology
- Proficiency in Bahasa preferred.
- Strong negotiation skills and strategic vision.
- Experience in education is advantageous.
