Role and responsibilities
- Manage the business in accordance with governing policies/directives and local regulatory requirements, ensuring that KM and other business areas in the KM Singapore office have the License to Operate
- Together with the Board develop plans to execute on divisional strategies as well as develop and execute on financial and non-financial KPls
- Enable an effective and strong local management team securing One KONGSBERG mindset across all divisions
- Deliver services and project execution in accordance with divisional requirements
- Work effectively with and through divisional stakeholders to ensure common understanding of operational and strategic priorities for KM Singapore, and according to financial and non-financial KPls
- Support development of the right competence, capability and cost base
- Secure a healthy, sound and inclusive work environment
- Represent KM and KONGSBERG in relevant industry fora
- Host and provide Business Support services to employees from other business areas located in Singapore
Requirements
As our new Country Manager, Singapore you should have a broad business and operational understanding and providing insight into the operational part of the business. You have sound compliance and ethics understanding, providing direction and guidance on our License to Operate. As a role model of teamwork and collaboration you inspire and support the team to work effectively across teams and across the matrix organization in KM. Working in a global organization with multicultural teams you bring strong international experience and cultural understanding and sensitivity.
The position reports to the SVP APAC and the Board of Directors.
