Job Summary

Strategy
• Lead the annual corporate plan and target setting process for the cash management organization, liaising with Group FP&A, Treasury, regional and country business heads to ensure a robust business plan with sufficient challenge and rigor. Link the business plan to the overall business strategy and scorecard metrics and ensure full visibility and transparency on performance across all metrics.
• Provide finance support to new business initiatives and projects such as roll out of commercial cards
• Support the Cash CFO in setting broader team priorities and initiatives, adopting an ‘agile’ approach to book of work management and prioritization, tracking team commitments and deliverables towards the collective goals.

Business
• Act as a senior business advisor to deliver business insights and high impact, executive ready analysis to drive performance and enable management decision making (ie. Pricing and margin analysis). Thorough understanding of the underlying drivers of the cash management business and regularly present opportunities and levers to drive revenue and returns performance.
• Active awareness and thought leadership on market trends/industry developments and deliver robust competitor benchmarking & peer analysis to understand Cash’s performance against peers and influence business strategies regarding product innovation and best practice to optimize our market position.
• Spearhead deep dives and strategic initiatives to drive continuous improvements to the business’s returns

Processes

• Develop and maintain appropriate policies and procedures which ensure that the cost budgets are rigorously adhered to, that resources under the direct control and influence of the Cash business are spent carefully, and only in support of Businesses PMC or Group approved plans and initiatives.
• Build and demonstrate understanding of the FTP framework and its financial implications. Carry out assessment of impact of changes in rate curve assumptions on TB Cash PL
• Manage the change and business impacts of FTP policy, providing business insights to address FTP implementation and issues.Support commercialization related to FTP framework, OPAC treatment, interest rate and liquidity risk profiling.
• Build Awareness and understanding of bank’s data architecture and collaborate with relevant Digital MI teams to solve for Analytics requirements.

Key Responsibilities

People & Talent
• Partner with senior leaders to drive and deliver on performance management reporting and analytics through high-quality executive deck.
• Engagement with senior stakeholders like TB CFO, TB CEO & TBMT members.
• Driving process improvement, efficiency and resolving core business issues in the team.
• Ensure highest quality of the reports produced by the team, whilst being on top of relevant processes and timelines end to end.
• Review various financial processes done by other GPO teams, ensure that the quality is not compromised and be on top of all financial activities end to end - Budgeting, Planning & Forecasting, Management reporting, Financial Analysis, Variance Analysis, Headcount reporting, Efficiency tracking, Accounting & Closing and other FP&A activities.

Risk Management

• Work closely with Accounting, Standard Reporting, and Planning & Control Teams.
• Understanding the financial processes end to end and quick in understanding the ad hoc requirements with ensuring quality and TAT of the output.
• Stakeholder management and escalation handling.
• Continuously reviewing all processes to identify opportunities for process improvements.
• Continuous improvement in Productivity to drive the efficiencies in the team.
• Upholding the Values of the Group and Company at all the times.
• Compliance with all applicable Rules/ Regulations and Company and Group Policies.

Skills and Experience

Regulatory & Business Conduct

Our Ideal Candidate

· 10+ years' experience in the financial services industry with subject matter knowledge around Treasury, FTP and liquidity

· A team player with the management ability and track record to secure the confidence and respect of peers, stakeholders and the management team

· Enthusiasm, drive and ability to work in a very fast paced high performance teams

· Ability to work effectively under pressure, multitask, have a sense of urgency to priorities core asks and lead through ambiguities.

· Should be able to influence cross functional teams and senior stakeholders that enables agreeing solutions in an unstructured environment.

· Experience of having led large teams including senior & experienced professionals.

· Ability to understand and connect business drivers and rationale for and application of those relevant to the Performance management process.

· Experience in managing/mentoring individuals and nurturing relationships across stakeholders.

· Ability to culturally orient in diverse & international team environment and lead and inspire multi-disciplinary team

Role Specific Technical Competencies

• Strong Analytical and Strategic mindset coupled with a thorough understanding of Business Performance.
• Experience in the financial services industry with subject matter knowledge around Treasury, FTP and liquidity
• Basic knowledge of R/Python and/or data visualization tools is preferred.
• Have worked in Financial Planning & Analysis, Variance Analysis, Stakeholder management, MI Reporting.

• Good communication and effective stakeholder management skills

• Commercial minded with strong awareness of the external and internal business environment and an
ability to grasp complex challenges
