Job Responsibilities:
- Implement and manage user access controls and permissions across various systems and applications.
- Ensure that access rights are assigned based on the principle of least privilege.
- Conduct regular reviews and audits of access rights to ensure compliance with policies.
- Manage the process of adding, modifying, and removing user accounts and access rights.
- Ensure timely provisioning and de-provisioning of access for new hires, transfers, and terminations.
- Coordinate with HR and other departments to ensure accurate and up-to-date user information.
- Develop, implement, and enforce security policies and procedures.
- Ensure that security policies are aligned with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
- Monitor compliance with security policies and report any violations or incidents.
- Design and implement role-based access control frameworks to streamline access management.
- Define and manage roles, profiles, and access groups to facilitate efficient access control.
- Review and update roles and permissions regularly to meet evolving business needs.
- Work with IAM systems to automate and streamline user access management processes.
- Implement IAM solutions to enhance security and improve user experience.
- Ensure the integration of IAM systems with other security and business applications.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Advanced degrees or certifications in relevant areas can be an advantage.
- Proven experience as a Security and Authorization Analyst or in a similar role.
- Experience with access control, identity and access management (IAM), and role-based access control (RBAC).
- Experience with security audits and compliance efforts.
- Proficiency in access management and IAM tools (e.g., Active Directory, Okta, SailPoint).
- Strong understanding of security principles, best practices, and regulatory requirements.
- Knowledge of IT systems, networks, and databases as they relate to access control.
- Familiarity with security frameworks and standards (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to translate complex technical concepts into understandable terms for non-technical stakeholders.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
