- Prepare and cook a variety of vegetarian dishes, including appetizers, main courses, and desserts.
- Develop and test new vegetarian recipes to expand our menu offerings.
- Ensure all food preparation and cooking areas are clean and sanitary.
- Maintain inventory of ingredients and supplies, and order as needed.
- Adhere to all food safety and sanitation guidelines.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely and efficient service.
- Accommodate special dietary requests and food allergies.
- Monitor food quality and consistency.
- Assist in menu planning and development.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a cook, preferably in a vegetarian or vegan kitchen.
- In-depth knowledge of vegetarian cooking techniques and ingredients.
- Strong understanding of food safety and sanitation practices.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Creativity and a passion for healthy, plant-based cooking.
- Culinary degree or relevant certification is a plus.
