Accounts Assistant

Sin Chew Alarm Pte Ltd

We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Account Assistant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will assist with various accounting tasks, including GST compliance, payroll processing, and managing payments. This role requires excellent organizational skills, a good understanding of accounting principles, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.


Key Responsibilities:


GST Compliance:


Prepare and file GST returns accurately and on time.

Ensure compliance with GST regulations and stay updated on any changes.

Reconcile GST accounts and resolve any discrepancies.

Assist with GST audits and provide necessary documentation and support.


Payroll Processing:


Process payroll accurately and on schedule for all employees.

Maintain payroll records, including timesheets, salary changes, and deductions.

Ensure compliance with statutory requirements related to payroll.

Handle employee queries related to payroll and resolve any issues promptly.


Payment Processing:


Process and record all company payments, including supplier invoices and employee reimbursements.

Ensure timely and accurate payments to vendors and suppliers.

Reconcile accounts payable and ensure accuracy in payment records.

Assist in the preparation of payment forecasts and cash flow management.


General Accounting Support:


Assist in maintaining accurate financial records and documentation.

Support the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.

Assist with internal and external audits by providing necessary information and documentation.

Participate in the month-end and year-end closing processes.
