Basic Function:
Support the Department Manager and top management of JGCAP in every aspect for the development and business growth of the company, such as creating the business plan, annual forecast and budget, operation plan and other measures.
This position is expected to be a leader who coordinates the relevant people to support the Department Manager and top management of JGCAP, as well as JGC Corporation, a parent company of JGCAP, in every aspect of financial planning and business growth of JGCAP, especially in terms of financial decisions in the aim of the most efficient operation.
Responsibilities:
- Develop analytical frameworks to support annual business plan and mid to long term planning.
- Take the lead to create business plans, financial targets, budgets, and management indicators for single-year business objectives.
- Work closely with the Finance Department, HR Department and Project Management Department and provide key information to top management for their decision making.
- Regularly monitor and analyze management indicators and prepare reports for top management and JGC Corporation.
- Coordinate the budget planning and the monitoring of strategic targets such as available manpower utilization, project forecasts, etc., in collaboration with relevant departments.
- In collaboration with the Finance Department, lead the monitoring and reporting of financial information and management indicators, and develop these measures to improve efficiency and accuracy.
- Ensure the compliance with internal rules when creating the reports and suggest amendments to the current operation and rules, if necessary.
- Lead the effort to develop greater financial insight in the business.
- Take the lead to improve financial skill and capability development programs which enable us to provide internal development opportunities for the relevant departments.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in finance or related field.
- Minimum 10 years of corporate financial planning experience.
- Fluency in spoken and written English.
- Excellent communication skills, with experience in multi-cultural communication settings.
- High proficiency in Microsoft Office tools.
- Willingness to learn and share knowledge to further the company’s financial acumen.
Preference:
- Experience in EPC Contracting or Construction Industry (EPC Client-side also welcome).
- Experience in creating out-of-the-box, tailor-made policies and procedures in response to organizational challenges.
- Experience working with a Japan Headquartered MNC.
- Strong analytical and logic skills to diagnose and conceptualize finance-related challenges.
