The Circuit Provisioning Lead manages the customer implementation process for POPs and DCs verifying the accuracy of specific order requirements, coordinating with outside vendors, agents and customers to ensure a smooth commissioning of service from the existing carrier.

Skills and Responsibilities:
- In depth understanding of local voice telecommunications, including POTS, Trunks, PRI, T1’s, DID’s, Toll Free, Integrated Voice/Data and VOIP, Fiber plan, POPs, Data Center environments.
- Must have the ability to trouble shoot potential or real services issues in Layer 1 – 3, to initiate and/or provide support for escalations.
- Turn-up ckts and migrate traffic to links. Run validation checks. Conduct turnover with Operations.
- Read and interpret LEC/CLEC customer service records to establish the current telecommunications environment and translate/transition to the contracted service.
- Communicate with the end user, vendor, agent and internal resources to obtain any necessary information to complete internal orders for the provision of services and follow up to ensure response.
- Keep track of critical dates for circuit installations, equipment installation, number porting, customer move target dates and keep multiple systems updated simultaneously for all departments to work from.
- Place orders and track multiple types of orders simultaneously.
- To be able to deal with unexpected and last minute changes regarding any part of an order and understand how it will affect the entire order process and to reschedule other parties involved as needed.
- To monitor the orders as it flows through other departments to ensure tasks are being completed in a timely manner.
- Coordinate with the end user, vendor, agent and internal resources the dates required for site survey, facility installation, equipment install and LNP and be the main point of contact throughout the process.
- Assist in the training needs of others on the team.
- Complete / provide assistance on trouble tickets that are assigned to the department.
- Assist in the training and education of other departments or individuals in the company as needed.
- Learn about new products / processes / workflows as new products are introduced.
- Assist with special projects as assigned by manager.
- Work on Cancellation/ Disconnect Orders to manage the work flow through various departments.
- Complete EEL / SPUNE Rollover Conversions. Other such duties that may be require by Management. Execution Efforts - POP Builds
