What a Material Handler (Contract Based) does at HP:
- Operate forklift activities which includes Transferring, Receiving, loading, and unloading of materials within Ink Plant.
- Managing the distribution and storages of various non-hazardous and hazardous materials within Ink Plant
- Inspect of all incoming goods, making sure deliveries of physical goods matches with shipping document; communicate and report to the appropriate personnel.
- Perform cycle count, recording of inventory statues and ensure accuracy.
- Liaise with various stakeholders on withdrawal or shipping request of materials or Finished goods.
- Monitor storage condition and store raw materials, supplies and Finished goods in the appropriate/ designated locations.
- Must comply to Safety rule and Procedures.
Individuals who do well in this role at HP usually possess:
- Skilled at operating forklift, with minimum 3-5 years of experience.
- Minimum SPM or O level equivalent.
- Minimum 3-5 years’ experience in warehouse and logistics management.
- Able to read, interpret, and follow written instructions and procedures.
- Able to communicate, both spoken and written in English, Chinese and Malay.
- Data entry into SAP will be an added advantage.
- Able to attend to details.
