We are seeking a skilled Frontend QA Engineer with expertise in Flutter to join our dynamic team and ensure the highest quality of our frontend applications. This is a 12-month extendable contract role with a potential to extend further.
Position Overview:
As a Frontend QA Engineer with Flutter expertise, you will play a critical role in our development team, focusing on the quality assurance of our frontend applications. You will work closely with developers and product managers to design, implement, and execute test plans, ensuring that our Flutter-based applications meet the highest standards of performance and usability.
Key Responsibilities:
Testing and Quality Assurance:
- Design, develop, and execute detailed test cases and test plans for frontend applications.
- Conduct manual and automated testing for Flutter-based applications.
- Identify, report, and track bugs and issues, and verify bug fixes.
Collaboration:
- Work closely with development teams to understand requirements and ensure quality throughout the development lifecycle.
- Participate in code reviews and provide feedback on testability and quality.
Automation:
- Develop and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks for Flutter applications.
- Utilize tools and libraries for automated testing, such as Flutter’s integration tests and other relevant testing frameworks.
Documentation:
- Document test results, processes, and defects.
- Create detailed reports and communicate findings to stakeholders.
Continuous Improvement:
- Identify areas for improvement in the testing process and propose solutions.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in QA and Flutter development.
Qualifications:
Experience:
- Proven experience as a QA Engineer with a focus on frontend applications.
- Hands-on experience with Flutter and Dart for mobile app development.
- Familiarity with frontend technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
Skills:
- Strong understanding of QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
- Experience with automated testing tools and frameworks, particularly for Flutter.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Other:
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality software.
Preferred:
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools.
- Knowledge of additional mobile development frameworks or platforms.
