Job Summary:
The SIOP Leader is responsible for coordinating and managing the Sales, Inventory, and Operations Planning process to ensure alignment between sales forecasts, production plans, and inventory levels. The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop and execute plans that balance supply and demand, optimize inventory levels, and support business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- SIOP Process Management:
- Lead the monthly SIOP process, ensuring timely and accurate inputs from all relevant functions.
- Facilitate SIOP meetings, driving consensus and alignment on forecasts, supply plans, and inventory strategies.
- Collaboration and Communication:
- Work closely with Sales, Marketing, Manufacturing, and Supply Chain teams to gather input and ensure alignment on SIOP plans.
- Communicate SIOP plans and updates to company leadership and key stakeholders.
- Data Analysis and Reporting:
- Analyze data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities in the supply chain.
- Develop and maintain SIOP performance metrics and provide regular reports to management.
- Continuous Improvement:
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices in SIOP.
- Lead and participate in cross-functional projects to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the SIOP process.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in supply chain management, with at least 3 years in a SIOP or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of SIOP processes and supply chain principles.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and advanced Excel skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively across all levels of the organization.
- APICS certification (CPIM, CSCP) is a plus.
