Job Description
- Report directly to CFO/Finance Manager and be responsible for financial closing and reporting for our Southeast Asia (SEA) region, providing valuable financial insights and analysis to support strategic decision-making.
- Ensure timely and accurate financial closing and reporting processes for the pharmaceutical business in the Southeast Asia region.
- Collaborate with regional business leaders to provide comprehensive financial insights and in-depth analysis of financial performance.
- Evaluate and monitor monthly financial performance, identifying any irregularities or trends that require attention, and develop and follow up on action plans to address them.
- Prepare and submit monthly business analysis reports to the Group Budget Management Department, highlighting key trends and developments specific to the SEA region.
- Conduct variance analysis comparing actual results to budget/forecast for sales, profit, margin, costs, and other key financial metrics, and communicate the findings to relevant stakeholders.
- Support the annual budgeting and forecasting process by providing financial review and analysis for the SEA region.
- Act as a trusted business partner for various functional stakeholders, establishing and fostering strong relationships with regional and country-level teams.
- Perform ad-hoc financial analysis and projects as required to support decision-making and improve financial performance.
- Perform any other ad-hoc duties as assigned by the Company.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- At least 3 years of relevant experience in financial planning and analysis, preferably in the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry.
- Strong understanding of financial closing and reporting processes, as well as experience with financial analysis and budgeting.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
- Advanced proficiency in financial modeling, data analysis, and MS Excel.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks within deadlines.
- Knowledge of the Southeast Asia pharmaceutical market and regulatory environment is advantageous.
- A proactive and results-oriented mindset, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
