- Supervise daily production activities.
- Responsible for production scheduling and materials allocation.
- Ensure proper handling of machines by operators.
- Ensure adequate supply of materials for production to meet orders.
- Ensure availability and proper housekeeping of all cutting tools.
- Conduct quality checks on finished products.
- Highlight any quality, production issues, machine malfunctioning to the immediate attention of Operations Manager and/or relevant Sales personnel.
- Review work processes, practices for continuous improvement to raise efficiency in operation.
- Ensure Workplace Safety and Health practices are in place.
- Supervise and motivate the production leaders and operators.
- Perform related duties as and when required as assigned by the Management.
Requirements:
- Willing to be hands-on at work.
- Proficiency in Mandarin is required for effective communication with team members who speak only Mandarin.
- Knowledge in SAP is an added advantage.
- Applicant must be willing to work in Tuas.
