IT Operations & Maintenance Manager (AMK)

System Maintenance and Monitoring:

  • Perform regular maintenance tasks such as updates, patches, and backups on system and network.
  • Continuously monitor system performance and health, identifying and resolving issues proactively.
  • Ensure all IT systems and infrastructure are running efficiently and securely.

Troubleshooting and Support:

  • Respond to and resolve system-related issues and outages in a timely manner.
  • Provide technical support and assistance to end-users and other IT team members.
  • Document issues, troubleshooting steps, and resolutions in the ticketing system.

Security and Compliance:

  • Implement and enforce security policies and procedures to protect IT systems and data.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.

Backup and Disaster Recovery:

  • Manage backup systems and procedures to ensure data integrity and availability.
  • Develop and maintain disaster recovery plans and conduct regular testing.

Documentation and Reporting:

  • Maintain detailed documentation of system configurations, maintenance activities, and procedures.
  • Generate and analyze system performance reports to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with other IT staff to develop and implement best practices.

Collaboration and Communication:

  • Work closely with other IT team members to support various IT projects and initiatives.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders to provide updates on system status and maintenance activities.
  • Train and mentor junior staff as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 4 to 6 years of experience in IT systems maintenance or a similar role.
  • Proven experience in maintaining and supporting IT infrastructure in a complex environment.
  • Proficiency in operating systems such as Windows Server and/or Linux (Red Hat, CentOS, Ubuntu).
  • Experience with virtualization technologies such as VMware vSphere, Microsoft Hyper-V, and KVM or HCI.
  • Knowledge of networking fundamentals, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, and routing protocols.
  • Familiarity with storage solutions (e.g., SAN, NAS) and data management techniques.
  • Scripting skills in languages such as PowerShell, Bash, or Python for automation tasks.
  • Good leadership skill
  • Good communication in English skill both spoken and written

  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
