Job Description
- Develop and implement a diverse range of sports, recreational activities, and events for club members of all ages and skill levels.
- Create a yearly calendar of events, programs, and activities, ensuring a balance between competitive sports, leisure activities, skill-building sessions, and special events.
- Coordinate the planning, logistics, and execution of club events, including tournaments, leagues, camps, clinics, social gatherings, and community outreach initiatives.
- Maintain and update the Club's sports and recreation facilities to ensure they are clean, safe, and well-maintained, suitable for both regular activities and special events.
- Manage equipment inventory, order new supplies as needed, and ensure equipment is in good working condition for both regular activities and special events.
- Recruit, train, and supervise staff for sports, recreation programs, and event management, providing guidance and support as needed.
- Collaborate with other departments within the Club to promote cross-functional activities, coordinate event resources, and maximize participant engagement.
- Ensure compliance with club policies and procedures related to sports, recreation activities, and event management, including safety protocols, risk management, and financial controls.
- Monitor and evaluate the success of sports, recreation programs, and events, gathering feedback from participants and stakeholders, and making recommendations for improvement as needed.
- Provide excellent customer service to club members, participants, and guests, addressing any concerns or issues in a timely and professional manner.
Job Requirements
Qualifications
- Diploma in Sports Management, Recreation Management, Event Management, or related field preferred.
- CPR and first aid certification are preferred.
- Only Singaporeans may apply.
Experience
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in a sports and recreation role, ideally within a club setting.
- Proven track record in organizing and coordinating sports, recreational activities, and events, preferably within a club or recreational facility environment.
Skills & Knowledge
- Excellent organizational, planning, and time management abilities.
- Proficiency in a diverse range of sports and recreational activities, encompassing Tennis, Swimming, Esports, Table Tennis, Squash, and Fitness.
- Understanding of safety protocols, regulations, and best practices pertinent to sports, recreation, and event management.
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
