Manages and monitors all installed systems and infrastructure to be in line with SOP (standard operating procedure) in place.
· Defines customers’ needs and functionalities.
· Assists in the coordination of system related activities and evaluation of the implementation design.
· Installs, configures, and tests operating systems, application software, and system management tools.
· Ensures the highest level of systems and infrastructure availability.
· Collaborates and manage various stakeholders to ensure high quality deliverables within the guidelines, policies, and procedures.
· Anticipating & troubleshooting systems related issues.
· Continual maintenance of security, including backup and redundancy strategies.
· Liaising with 3rd party vendors, IT providers, etc. for support where required.
· Provide system documentation and SOPs.
Requirements:
· BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related subject
· Proven working experience in installing, configuring and troubleshooting UNIX /Linux based or windows environments.
· Experience with virtualization and containerization (e.g., VMware, Virtual Box)
· Experience with monitoring systems
· Solid experience in the administration and performance tuning of application stacks ) is an added advantage
· Experience with automation software is an added advantage
· Experience with networking knowledge (OSI network layers, TCP/IP) is an added advantage
Working Location: AMK but travel to Airport often
