Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Leadership:Lead and manage the legal team supporting the Prime Brokerage and Investment Banking divisions.
- Regulatory Compliance:Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards.
- Contract Management:Oversee the drafting, negotiation, and review of contracts, agreements, and other legal documents related to prime brokerage and investment banking activities.
- Risk Management:Identify potential legal risks and develop strategies to mitigate them.
- Dispute Resolution:Manage and resolve legal disputes, litigation, and arbitration matters.
- Stakeholder Engagement:Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including compliance, risk, and business development teams, to support business objectives.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor Degree in Law
- Minimum of 8-10 years of legal experience in the financial services industry, with a focus on prime brokerage and investment banking.
- Strong understanding of securities laws, regulatory compliance, and financial markets.
- Proven track record of providing strategic legal advice and leadership in a complex business environment.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively under pressure.
