The Vice President of Business-IT serves as a liaison between the Regional IT department (ASO) and the Bank’s business units in Singapore Branch. The role involves working closely with Branch departments and stakeholders to identify and analyze their IT needs, orchestrating IT services with Regional ASO departments to support these needs, and ensuring that IT solutions delivered meet business objectives.
Responsibilities:
- Building strong relationships with business departments and stakeholders.
- Understanding the strategic goals of each business unit to identify relevant IT services that support these goals, and
- Communicating business needs to IT staff, and IT capabilities and constraints back to the business units.
- Leading meetings with related departments to plan IT projects and programs that align with business goals.
- Overseeing IT projects that involve SG Branch to ensure timely and efficient implementation of IT solutions or services.
- Monitoring IT satisfaction levels and work on enhancing the IT service value perception through proactive communication.
- Support the Head of ASO-S in facilitating executive meetings such as System Steering Committee.
- Monitor the delivery of Service Level Targets and regularly review them with stakeholders.
- Promote adoption of strategic promising technology that can contribute to SG branch business growth.
- Point of contact for the SG Branch departments for any IT-related information and updates, and facilitate issue resolution between IT and business units.
Requirements:
- Min 8 years of experience in both IT and business practices along with project management skills.
- Experience in stakeholders management with various business departments
- Experience in service level managements
- Banking/financial industry will be advantage.
- PMP or ITIL framework
- Experience in roles that bridge both IT and Business domains is preferably
