We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Assistant Director of Technical Services (Engineering/Property and Project Management) to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hotel operations, property maintenance, and project management. This role will oversee the property maintenance team, ensuring the highest standards of maintenance and operations across our portfolio, which includes hotels, commercial shops, and hotel laundry facilities in Singapore.


Job Descriptions

  • Lead and manage the property maintenance team to ensure efficient operations and high standards.
  • Develop and implement preventive maintenance plans for all properties.
  • Coordinate with vendors, suppliers, and contractors to maintain property functionality and aesthetics.
  • Collaborate with the central procurement team to secure quotes and negotiate maintenance contracts.
  • Ensure all contracts are managed effectively and services are delivered as per agreements.
  • Oversee ad hoc projects from design to completion, ensuring timely and within-budget delivery.
  • Obtain and evaluate quotes for various projects, ensuring competitive pricing and quality work.
  • Assist in reviewing drawings and MEP provisions for leasing purposes.
  • Address tenant enquiries and conduct site inspections to ensure compliance and satisfaction.
  • Work closely with internal and external stakeholders to minimize Out of Order (OOO) time for properties.
  • Maintain strong communication channels with all parties to ensure smooth operations and quick resolution of issues.

Job Requirements

  • Degree in Engineering, Property Management, or a related field is preferred.
  • Extensive experience in hotel operations at either the hotel or corporate level. Previous experience with consultancy or contractor firms is highly advantageous.
  • Demonstrated experience in property management, maintenance, and project management.
  • Strong negotiation skills for handling contracts, procurement, and excellent project management skills, with the ability to oversee projects from inception to completion.
