Teaching & administrative Assistant

Location: Huamin Primary School, 21 Yishun Avenue 11, Singapore 768857
Contract Period: 1 January 2025 – 31 December 2025
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM – 4:30 PM (inclusive of 1-hour lunch break)

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Classroom Support:
  • Assist teachers in the preparation and organization of teaching and learning resources.
  • Support teachers in implementing interventions for students with learning difficulties, special needs, and behavioral concerns.
  • Aid in managing the classroom environment to ensure it is conducive to learning.
  1. Student Support:
  • Work closely with teachers to provide targeted support to students, particularly those with attendance issues or special educational needs.
  • Treat students with respect and fairness, considering their physical, social, and psychological development.
  1. Administrative Support:
  • Assist in inventory management, including stock-taking and packing of resources.
  • Handle general office front desk duties, such as answering phone calls and managing queries from students and parents.
  • Collect and organize data for various school-related activities and administrative purposes.
  1. Event and Program Support:
  • Assist in the planning and execution of school programs and events, including learning journeys.
  • Participate actively in school-related activities or events as required.
  1. Collaboration:
  • Work collaboratively with teachers, staff, and the school’s administrative team to support overall school operations.
  • Maintain a positive and cooperative attitude while working within a team environment.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Educational Background:

Minimum of a secondary school education qualification.

  • Experience:

At least 3 years of experience in a similar role within a primary school setting.

  • Technical Skills:

Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).


Good knowledge of general office procedures and administrative tasks.

  • Communication Skills:

Proficient in both written and spoken English.

Ability to interact effectively with students, parents, and staff.
