We are seeking a seasoned Project Manager (PM) to manage the end-to-end process of a building construction project. Assigned under either the Building or the Lab team, headed by a Senior Project Manager, the PM will oversee all aspects of the projects, including milestones attainment, meeting timelines, leveraging consultants' skills and experience to ensure specifications and viability, working with internal stakeholders to ensure buy-in and support, managing external stakeholders and delivery, and optimizing project costs.
The PM will manage project resources, conduct regular project review meetings, ensure projects are on track at every stage of the project life cycle, manage change requests, anticipate and address issues, and handle project delays and risks to ensure a successful outcome.
Primary Responsibilities
- Manage a portfolio of projects with defined scope and objectives, develop project scope, timelines, resource requirements, and milestones, and collaborate closely with stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables.
- Implement effective project schedules to meet deadlines and milestones, and proactively identify and address potential delays to keep the project on schedule.
- Fully responsible for end-to-end activities from requirements gathering to project delivery, manage project scope, cost, schedule, and contractual deliverables, maintaining a focus on overall project success.
- Responsible for project milestone deliverables and obtaining sign-offs as required.
- Conduct risk assessments and proactively develop mitigation strategies to address potential project challenges.
- Manage stakeholders across all levels, including internal resources, partners, project team members, and subcontractors.
- Provide regular updates to senior management and stakeholders on project progress, challenges, and potential showstoppers, and maintain transparent communication channels between team members and external partners.
- Work with PMO to ensure issues are logged, resolutions are in place, and outcomes are on track.
- Review overall project spend, monitor GP% status and improvement on a year-to-year basis, and define the charging approach.
- Relevant studies in Electrical, Chemical, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
- PMP Certification from PMI or equivalent is required.
