What we Expect from you?
- Develop project proposals and solutions for clients. This includes compiling detailed costs, quotations from suppliers, tender preparation and submissions, client requirements and specifications, solution designs, content creation, visual designs, technical designs and contractual agreements.
- Drive sales and marketing efforts in activites such as exhibitions and events. Attend networking events to build industry connections to facilitate business growth.
- Liaise with other departments (eg. sciences, operations, projects) to develop and deliver solutions to customers.
- Conduct market resesarch, identify market trends, determine pricing and demand, and explore innovative solutions in both the farm solutions and vegetable products industry; translate these into products and services the company needs to offer.
- Contribute to planning and execution of sales and marketing plans, processes and strategies.
- Develop and manage supplier relationships. This includes sourcing for suppliers, understanding, evaluating and validating suitable technologies from suppliers.
- Develop new customer leads, pursue existing leads, attend customer meetings, support customer requests and inquiries, negotiate deals and manage customer relationships.
- Achieve sales and margin targets.
- Provide timely reports and records of minutes to management
Requirements
- Degree / Master in Engineering / Science /Business or equivalent
- Sales, marketing or technical role in companies selling products and services having a strong technical/engineering element to them.
- Experience from both local and international companies
- Worked in companies undergoing rapid growth and/or significant change programmes
- Familiar with developing and maintaining supplier relationships
- Worked with many cultures (geographical and company)
- Strong analytical skills
- Strong sales and negotiation skills
- Excellent facilitation and presentation skills
- Excellent and confident communicator
