Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and maintain safety programs and policies
- Conduct safety inspections and audits to identify and mitigate hazards
- Provide safety training and education to employees when required
- Collaborate with the project management and site team to develop Risk Assessments and Safe Work Procedures
- Monitor and enforce all safety requirements on the construction site
- Maintain records and documentation related to workplace safety
- Collaborate with management to ensure compliance with safety regulations
- Any other business related matters assigned by the Project Management/Head office.
Required Skills:
- Possess WSHC certification at Level B or equivalent
- Strong knowledge of occupational health and safety regulations
- Minimum 5 years' relevant experience in a construction supervisory or foreman role
- Familiarity with risk management processes and safety administration documentation
- Proficient in using relevant computer applications
- Ability to analyse data and identify safety trends
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Problem-solving and critical thinking abilities
