Responsibilities
1. Strategic Business Development
a. Market Research and Analysis
• Conduct comprehensive market research to identify white space opportunities within and beyond the current business scope.
• Analyse market trends, competitive landscape and customer needs to pinpoint potential areas for business expansion.
b. Competitive Strategy Initiatives
• Develop detailed plans to capitalize on identified opportunities for organic growth. e.g. new market growth, new customer segment, new capability, etc
c. Corporate Strategy Initiatives
• e.g. cost and productivity improvements, re-orgs, etc
2. M&A, JV, Partnerships & Strategic Investments
• Organize and execute BA and LOB-level M&A and Strategic Investment initiatives for inorganic growth, e.g. determine requirements, pipeline growth and monitoring
• Conduct due diligence to assess the financial health, strategic fit, and potential risk of potential target.
• Manage acquisition or investment process from start to end
• Develop integration plans to ensure smooth post-acquisition transition and synergies.

Requirements
• Master in Business Administration (MBA) or related field such as finance, economics or strategic management. Knowledge of emerging technology and their potential impact on the business is an advantage.
• Experience in corporate development/ strategic planning/ management consulting
• A strong understanding of financial metric and market dynamics and business acumen in the related industry.
• Proficiency in data analysis and using data-driven insights to inform strategic decision.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills to convey complex ideas clearly and concisely.
