St.Gallen Symposium Research Associate (PhD Candidate Position)
at its Singapore office per October 1st, 2024 or mutual agreement.
You have a master’s degree in economics, finance, management or a related area. Ideally, you are an alumni of the International Students’ Committee and have helped in the past to organize the St.Gallen Symposium. You enjoy learning and acting entrepreneurially and are excited about living in Asia. You will enroll into one of the PhD-programs offered by the University of St.Gallen. The language of instruction is English. The position is based in Singapore and includes time for PhD-coursework in Switzerland.
You are looking forward to the following responsibilities:
- Representing the St.Gallen Symposium in Asia as head of the St.Gallen Symposium’s activities in Singapore
- Contributing to further build the St.Gallen Symposium’s network in Asia
- Designing and planning network and content-driven events
- Helping to organize the annual St.Gallen Symposium
- The position is a unique opportunity for candidates devoted to the St.Gallen Symposium’s idea to foster the dialogue between generations and who are keen on living and working in Asia.
The St.Gallen Symposium is a leading conference taking place at the University of St.Gallen in May. Every year key decision-makers from the fields of economics, politics, science, and society take part in the symposium to meet and exchange with the next generation of leaders.
