Job Summary:
The Accountant will be responsible for managing financial records, preparing reports, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations. This role requires a strong understanding of commodity trading operations and the ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Job responsibilities
- Report to company’s director.
- In charge of full spectrum of company’s accounts in Singapore.
- Prepare financial and non-financial information requested by management and other parties (for eg. Bank, GTP, Statistic).
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, full year management accounts of the company.
- Quarterly GST review and submission.
- Prepare audit schedule for statutory audit and liaise with auditor for any matter arising from the audit.
- Liaise with tax agent, bankers, corporate secretary, and government bodies on any matters arising from the company.
- Any other ad hoc job assigned by directors from time to time.
Requirement
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, ACCA, CPA or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial regulations.
- Proficiency in accounting software: Microsoft Dynamics 365
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Familiarity with commodity trading operations and financial instruments is a plus.
- Proficiency in Mandarin is required to Mandarin-speaking management or counterparts.
- Experience in working with GTP programme would be an advantage.
