Job Description

We are seeking a Business Development Director who is a key member of the management team and plays a leadership role within the business being the executive in charge of the Business Development Department. This role manages all activities of the Inhouse Consulting, M&A and Strategy Planning, ensuring that all activities are adding value to the business.


Business Development Director seeks opportunities for business development and responsible for driving revenue growth. Leads expansion into new markets to support the overall growth strategy. Builds relationships with existing clients to increase their current investment. Reviews and analyses results to facilitate development of new initiatives and partnerships. The goal is to drive sustainable financial growth through boosting sales and forging strong relationships with clients.

  • Developing a business development strategy focused on financial gain and growth strategies
  • Identifying and mapping business strengths and customer needs
  • Researching business opportunities and viable income streams
  • Manages and prioritizes the business’s pipelines
  • Managing and retaining relationships with existing clients
  • Increasing client base
  • Promote the company’s products/services addressing or predicting clients’ objectives
  • Prepare sales contracts ensuring adherence to law-established rules and guidelines
  • Having an in-depth knowledge of business products and value proposition
  • Negotiating with stakeholders
  • Following industry trends locally and internationally
  • Drafting and reviewing contracts
  • Reporting on successes and areas needing improvements

Job Requirements

You should have at least a Bachelor’s degree or master's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics or any relevant discipline


· A minimum of 12 years of Financial Services/Wealth Management experience

· A proven track record for driving and exceeding targets

· Experience managing and using data to drive accountability, decision-making and innovation

· Experience with design and implementation of business development strategy

· Possess necessary regulatory licence

· Generates new ideas; goes beyond the status quo; recognizes the need for new or modified approaches;

brings perspectives and approaches together, combining them in creative ways.

· Ability to think critically, anticipate issues and prioritize multiple projects

· High-level communication skills

· Stakeholder management skills

· Proven ability to negotiate

· Relationship Management

· Analytics

· Conflict resolution

· The ability to self-motivate and motivate a team

· Experience working to and exceeding targets

· Excellent business acumen, communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills

· Ability to inspire

· Self-motivated and disciplined

· Strategic thinking and sharp executions coupled with relentless ambition and energy,

which will enable the business to reach targets, goals, and attain objectives.
