Job Responsibilities
Customer data segmentations
- Identify customer segments and understand their buying behaviour, demographics and life stage
- Connect the user data from various data resources to build a complete profile
Data extraction, analysis and interpretation
- Extract and conduct ad-hoc data analysis to address specific business questions and challenges
- Interpret data findings and communicate insights to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner
Developing and maintaining company’s data taxonomies & databases
- Creating and updating the hierarchical classification of data elements within the organization.
Ensuring data quality
- Monitoring and maintaining the quality and integrity of company’s data taxonomies.
- Ensuring the data taxonomy adheres to organization’s data governance policies and standards.
Collaborating with stakeholders.
- Working with various departments and stakeholders to understand their data needs and incorporating these into the taxonomy.
- Build dashboards that will make our data evaluation process more flexible and scalable across datasets
Data Culture Training
- Train internal stakeholders on how to do basic query for the relevant datasets
Requirements
- Good communication skills and experience in collaborating with different team members from business and technology.
- Good understanding of enterprise applications, business processes and business requirement analysis.
- Analytical, detail-oriented, ability to manage timelines and adapt to project needs.
- Advanced proficiency in SQL, or any other data querying language.
- Advanced proficiency in BigQuerry or Amazon Redshift or similar software
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Proficient knowledge of Tableau, Power BI, or other business intelligence tools.
- 12-months renewable contract
Qualifications
- Degree in Math’s / Statistics / Analytics or a relevant discipline.
- 3 to 5 years of experience in a data analyst role working with business stakeholders.
- Working experience in at least one project related to business intelligence, reporting or data warehousing.
- Optional prior work experience in the automotive industry would be beneficial.
- Having 1 or more of the following experiences.
o Working knowledge in building customer data profile
o Working knowledge in database and system design.
o Working knowledge about querying data, data visualization and data analysis.
o Performed in the role of a data analyst or reporting capacity.
