Roles and Responsibilities
- Analyze market outlook and provide forecast on lifting / freight to Trade Management for PL Forecast (Monthly, Budget)
- Review Account Plan
- Handle Pricing (MRG rate setting / Tender), space management, D&D Waiver and market intelligence
- Discuss schedule recovery with Trade Management as and when required
- Participate in Tender Strategy Discussion to formulate direction for new tender year
- Attend weekly meetings with Sales / Marketing / Trade (or as and when required with overseas RHQs)
- Co-lead and participate in half yearly CGM/Budget Roll Out to Sales
- Participate or guide team members in Projects such as SNOW, Tiger, Eagle-X, AOQ, ONE Force, Looker, Chorus
Requirements
- Degree in related field
- Minimum 5 years of marketing management experience, prior industry marketing experience a plus
- Knowledge of vessel services and Account Planning
- Strong working knowledge of company operating systems, Looker/OPUS/ONE Force
- Knowledge of data retrieval, analysis and reporting practices
- Demonstrates effective values by being internally and externally customer-focused while supporting the company’s business plan
- Knowledge and understanding of Customer Volume agreements and bid process awards across trades
- Excellent proficiency with MS PowerPoint, MS Word, Google Suite (exceptional Excel skills required)
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills; solid analytical and problem-solving skills is a must
- Team player, motivated, disciplined, and good initiative
- Available for extended hours
