Position: Technical Manager ( Electrical Design )
- Monday to Friday (8.30am - 6pm)
- Salary: $6,200 to $9,300 (Depending on experience & qualifications)
- Location: AMK
Requirements:
- Degree in Electrical Engineering or any other relevant field with relevant design working experience
- Preferably a Professional Engineer registered with the Professional Engineers Board, Singapore
- Familiar with working within LTA rail and road structures protection zones will be an advantage
- Prefer with commercial building experience
- Experience in giving technical advice for the Electrical Design before or while the building is still under construction
Job scope:
- Develop and implement successful design strategies and implement them for the project
- Ensuring that the multi-disciplinary teams building the project work together smoothly and that everything is delivered on time and within budget
- Overseeing the design process using technical expertise
- Advising on the selection of materials used and other aspects of procurement
- Working with clients to ensure that their expectations are met
- Reviewing designs with health and safety in mind
- Ensuring strict compliance of the design in accordance with contractual requirements and Singapore standards.
- Maintaining thorough documentation of the design process
- Managing processes relating to the project’s design to ensure that everything is delivered to schedule and budget
- Keeping up to date with changing building legislation and codes of practice relating to design
